We celebrated Kate's birthday Monday. She is now 3 going on 13. We had a fun little bash with family at Grandma & Grandpa's house. She was ecstatic and was waiting in anticipation all day for her cake. After the
last birthday cake fiasco I was not looking forward to the cake making this time. And since Kate couldn't decided exactly
what she wanted I came up with an idea that she in turn loved. While searching on
evite for an invitation I found one with Matryoshka dolls on it. And since I had already made her a
Matryoshka doll outfit & I love and adore all things Matryoshka it was perfect! Not only that but a Matroyshka doll cake would be sooo easy & easy it was!
Simple but cute!

Kate was in one of her Ham it up for the camera (see 1st pic) & PRETEND to be shy moods (see 2nd pic) so some of her birthday pics are rather funny.

I tried to make a Thomas the Train for my grandson when he turned 3. It looked like a train wreck, but he loved it! Precious memories.
